The IFPRA 2012 European Congress will be held in Basel from 5-7 September 2012. Apart from outstanding contributions by international experts, you can also discover the city of Basel and in particular the public greenery. We will take you on a sightseeing tour to the nearby bordering regions of Germany and France.We have chosen the following main topics for the congress:
- Climate change / demographic development: New demands towards public green spaces
- Urban farming / urban gardening: A trend leading to a new awareness in handling public green spaces
- High quality – low budget: Good grounds for greening?
Furthermore, interesting programmes will be offered for accompanying persons, as well as pre- and after-congress trips to the most beautiful Swiss regions: Jura, Neuchâtel, Bern and Fribourg.
